The re-adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand premieres tomorrow on CBS All Access, and thanks to EW, we have the first full clip from the highly anticipated miniseries.

The scene finds the demonic Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard) making his way to a prison cell where desperate petty criminal Lloyd Henreid (Nat Wolff) has survived by eating a rat... and cannibalizing his unfortunate cellmate.

"It's a seduction scene," says showrunner Benjamin Cavell. "And it was very important to us that Flagg was attractive – not just physically attractive, obviously, it's Alexander Skarsgard, so we've got that covered – but we wanted an audience to be able to easily imagine why people would follow him. We didn't just want the takeaway to be, 'Anybody who's vulnerable to falling under the sway of this guy must just be inherently evil.'"

Check out the first two minutes of the scene by following the link below, and let us know if you plan on tuning in to the first episode of The Stand.

For those unfamiliar with King's novel, The Stand deals with a global pandemic (yes, it's a scarily prescient tale) known as "Captain Tripps" which wipes out 99% of the world's population. The survivors are immune to the disease, but are ultimately forced to fight each other as some are drawn to a the light (Mother Abagail), and others to darkness (Flagg).

New Mutants director Josh Boone, who was the driving force behind all previous attempts to adapt the book, will direct, write, and produce the upcoming miniseries.

@narrow290 - same about CBS. Haven't really heard anything about what it's got to offer, so I'm kinda surprised they're coming with what a show that looks like it has a pretty solid budget

Man, I just never liked Nat Wolff. I'll be honest I don't even remember why or what I saw him in that made me think this way. But when I saw him in the trailer I immediately groaned lol.

'Baby can you dig your man? Your new right hand man.'

Larry Underwood got new lyrics.

I guess I'll wait nine weeks until all of the episodes have aired. Then I will look for a "free trial" and use that. If I can't find a "free trial" offer, I'll pay for one month and watch it.

I doubt that it happens, but it would be nice to hear Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" again.

This story has been popping up all over. I think it's a tad ridiculous, to put it politely.
