During DC FanDome yesterday, HBO Max announced that Titans has officially been renewed for a fourth season. The series follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In season three, circumstances draw the characters to Gotham City, where they reunite with old friends and face new threats like Red Hood and Scarecrow.

With that news comes a first look at the Titans finale ahead of its release on Thursday, October 21.

In that, we get a fun nod to Batman's love life as Selina Kyle is namedropped; unfortunately, Titans has developed something of a habit of talking about well-known characters while failing to show them.

It was also confirmed that Epix series Pennyworth is returning for a third season; however, it's set to make the leap to HBO Max, with the first two season set to arrive on the platform starting in early 2022. We never really hear much from the show, but there's clearly an audience there, and it appears Warner Bros. Television wants to continue what is essentially a prequel to Gotham.

In Pennyworth, we follow Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier, who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), before he becomes Bruce Wayne’s father. Season three begins after a five-year time jump: the civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for better or worse – ushering in a new age of superheroes and supervillains.
