LOKI Promo Art Provides A New Look At The God Of Mischief; May Confirm Some Plot Details
Some new Loki promo art has been revealed via official tie-in merchandise, and in addition to giving us another glimpse of Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief, it may confirm some rumoured plot details...
Disney+ recently announced a premiere date for Loki, and we now have a new look at the upcoming Marvel miniseries thanks to some official promo art.
Shared online via Twitter, these tie-in t-shirts not only feature Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief and the logo for the TVA (Time Variance Authority), but seemingly hint at some major plot points.
One tee includes the tagline "What Makes Loki a Loki," which certainly suggests that the show will indeed feature more than one version of the Asgardian trickster, while another says, "The Timeline Wants to Break Free."
I don’t know how legit this is, but these are allegedly some of the official Loki series T-shirts being released.— Cade ☀️ LOKI SERIES (@LokiSnakes) March 1, 2021
One of the more interesting lines on one of them is “What makes a Loki a Loki?” We knew that there would be multiple Lokis making appearances, though. pic.twitter.com/3lglqsPCvs
UPDATE: Some more art has found its way online (h/t to The Direct), featuring Owen Wilson's character Mobius M. Mobius and a mysterious vintage cartoon character called Miss Minutes (The TVA's mascot, perhaps?)
Loki will see the God of Mischief step "out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer."
Marvel's highly-anticipated Disney+ series is set to premiere on the streaming service on June 11.
