Disney+ recently announced a premiere date for Loki, and we now have a new look at the upcoming Marvel miniseries thanks to some official promo art.

Shared online via Twitter, these tie-in t-shirts not only feature Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief and the logo for the TVA (Time Variance Authority), but seemingly hint at some major plot points.

One tee includes the tagline "What Makes Loki a Loki," which certainly suggests that the show will indeed feature more than one version of the Asgardian trickster, while another says, "The Timeline Wants to Break Free."

UPDATE: Some more art has found its way online (h/t to The Direct), featuring Owen Wilson's character Mobius M. Mobius and a mysterious vintage cartoon character called Miss Minutes (The TVA's mascot, perhaps?)

Loki will see the God of Mischief step "out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer."

Marvel's highly-anticipated Disney+ series is set to premiere on the streaming service on June 11.

I feel like Loki is the ringmaster and this show will be his circus.

Man I like how obscure this looks compared to the other Disney Plus offerings. Looks like it's gonna be a fun watch.

This show is gonna be the closest thing we get to live action Rick and Morty. Not counting Back To The Future of course.

Originally I was against this show as I felt it took away from the finality of his death in Endgame, but now WV has me so ready for multiverse content that I’m actually really excited

@Ha1frican - I have to admit, I was not excited at the idea of Loki show. Mostly because he died, and I'm tired of characters not dying in the MCU, aside from villains. (And Iron Man). But then I saw the trailer and it looks so good.

Then I started thinking about the prospects of having this timeline's Loki crossing over to the main MCU timeline and becoming the new Loki there, and I have to say, I like the idea. Only because Loki became too much of a hero in the main timeline. It would be cool to see this version of Loki to cross over, only he doesn't have all the build up that made him into a hero, so this version would take the character back to his dick-ish roots in the main timeline, which could be really fun.

@CorndogBurglar - True, I didnt really think about it but this Loki never experienced anything past Avengers regarding his character development. They could put him on the track of being the God of Evil and going the opposite way he did in the main timeline. I wonder if he crosses paths with Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness and finds his way "back" to the main timeline

Disney's merchandising department would have to be absolutely, ridiculously stupid if they don't offer the horns and tie clip for Politician Loki costumes.

Does anyone really know whats going on in this show? I know its an alternate dimension. And I know people think the stained glass window shows Mephisto, but to be fair, I'm not so sure. Then I saw theories that the middle of the 3 statues is Immortus. But then they show Loki watching the Avengers in the main MCU timeline at the end of the original Avengers movie after they defeated him, and it all just makes me wonder.

None of those things seem like they would all work together in the same story. Mephisto, Immortus, the main MCU timeline.....they all seem so different. Like, what are they going for with this? Is this their way of bringing Loki back to the main MCU timeline, only to bring him back to his borderline evil roots? Or does this have more to do with the multiverse being thrown out of whack? Or is it just a totally separate show with a fan favorite character that won't really cross over at all with the main MCU?

I just can't figure out what this is all about.

@CorndogBurglar - I think its probably the last thing you mentioned. I just wonder how the TVA works, seeing as Endgame said very precise rules about time travel in place

Why would the TVA have a mascot? Not that I mimd it being wonky, I just hope the TVA isnt going to be too similar to the time travel agency in the Umbrella Academy

@bkmeijer - time travel in the MCU is technically just a bunch of different alternate realities that don’t affect the main timeline like how Umbrella Academy stuff had the potential to change history itself. My guess is that using the Nexus of Realities, bringing in Captain Britain corps, and council of kangs will be enough to differentiate with Umbrella Academy

@JFerguson - seeing Captain Britain would be a dream. That would be very welcome

It makes me wonder if the world he took the Tesseract from is better or worse of without it or if the TVA put it back where it belongs.

It seems the earth or some planet was destroyed at some point on some timeline and it's and event explored at diferent stages trought time.

Also the blonde girl seems to be from the demon worshipers timeline, the painted window shows a demonic entity on top of the world that going by it's red skin could be Mephisto but the figure it's dressed on green witch is not a color he is associated with.

I would love to see Loki re-emerge in the MCU as a stellar villain & none of this "anti-hero" stuff. I am so tired of movies watering down villains. IMO I think introducing a badass evil female loki would be amazing!
