By this time next week, we'll have all watched the first episode of What If...?, a series that promises to take everything we thought we knew about the MCU and turn it on its head.

The premiere will put the spotlight on Peggy Carter's transformation into Captain Carter, but this new featurette sees The Watcher himself, Jeffrey Wright, lay out what we can expect from the show overall. The actor does an incredible job of explaining the premise of What If...? and making it clear that the show is going to take us to worlds that are vastly different to the MCU we've come to know.

Check out this new featurette for What If...? below:

There are some intriguing new snippets of footage too, including Black Widow being arrested by Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Yellowjacket's return, and more of Steve Rogers' transformation.

The featurette comes hot on the heels of the first clip from the show highlighting the HYDRA Stomper.

We were recently part of the global press conference for the Disney+ series, and got to ask director Bryan Andrews and star Jeffrey Wright about working with the late Chadwick Boseman on the episode that sees T'Challa become Star-Lord. Read their lengthy, emotional response here
