Following some stylish teasers, Netflix has finally released a full trailer for Cowboy Bebop, and this first look at the live-action adaptation should assuage any major fan-concerns, as it does a terrific job of capturing the vibe of the original anime.

The trailer begins with Spike Spiegel (John Cho) bidding farewell to his old life as a member of the Red Dragon crime syndicate to begin his new career as a bounty hunter (or, cowboy) alongside Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) - who he takes an instant dislike to.

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster, and let us know if you plan on giving Cowboy Bebop a go when it hits Netflix on November 19.

"Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka cowboys, all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them."

We recently learned that anime composer Yoka Kano, who has worked on the likes of Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Turn A Gundam, Macross Plus, and more, created the soundtrack.

Cowboy Bebop is exec produced and written by Christopher Yost (Thor), who also serves as showrunner along with Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio; Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios; Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise Inc. Watanabe is on board as a consultant.
