Milla Jovovich Shares Brand New Photo From The MONSTER HUNTER Set Featuring Captain Artemis

Paul W.S. Anderson's take on the Monster Hunter video game series has been in development since 2012, but principal photography on the film has just began in Cape Town, South Africa. Earlier in the week, actor Diego Boneta (Eden, Terminator 6) gave us our first look at his original Monster Hunter character, Sergeant Marshall, sharing a detailed set photo on his Instagram page.

Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil, The Fifth Element) has now decided to give fans a quick look at Monster Hunter's protagonist, Captain Natalie Artemis. “Just a little peek for all the Monster Hunter fans out there who were worried the other day,” she wrote on Instagram. “Here is Captain Artemis wearing a ‘slinger’ on her arm." In the games, the slinger is a tool that can used to grapple hook around places.

It wasn't the only photo Jovovich shared yesterday, and the other gives us a better look at the Alpha Team featuring Jovovich, Meagan Good (Calinfornication, Don Jon), and "T.I." Harris (Entourage, Ant-Man and The Wasp).

Monster Hunter will reportedly focus on two protagonists who come from different worlds and must cooperate in fighting monsters in order to survive. Take a look:
