See How Big Batman: Arkham City’s Game World Really Is

If you were wondering just how big that city was, check out this clip from Kotaku's Gamescom demonstration yesterday.

"The one big difference between Batman: Arkham City and its predecessor, Arkham Asylum, is the fact the latter was set on a segmented island while the former is set in a large, sandbox city.

If you were wondering just how big that city was, check out this clip from my Gamescom demonstration yesterday. This race mode - which isn't actually in the game (it was specifically built for Gamescom to show off the scale of Gotham) - shows that Arkham City is indeed a massive, open city. And, as you'll glimpse from the periphery of the "track", this isn't even showing all of it, just a race between two landmarks."
