This week, Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider gets a special 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray release and a 4K 2-Movie Collection. Plus, new releases include The Courier and The World to Come!

This week's new Blu-ray releases are headlined by the 20th Anniversay Edition of Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider from Paramount Home Entertainment, which is also releasing a special 2-Movie Collection on 4K Ultra HD that will include both Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of LIfe.

As for new releases, Benedict Cumberbatch's historical spy drama The Courier and the Katherine Waterston/Vanessa Kirby romantic drama The World to Come are both now available on Blu-ray.

Paramount is also releasing Stepford Wives, Rat Race, and Mommie Dearest on Blu-ray while from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment come the sports drama Boogie and the official debut of the Burt Reynolds classic Smokey and the Bandit on 4K Ultra HD.

For Disney Movie Club subscribers, Disney Home Entertainment has added three new titles to their exclusive collection in Bruce Willis' The Kid, Lindsay Lohan's Herbie: Fully Loaded, and Vin Diesel's The Pacifier - all of which are making their Blu-ray debuts.

On television, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal: The Complete First Season and Samurai Jack: The Complete Series on Blu-ray while we also have Bryan Cranston's Your Honor from Paramount and Billions: Season Two from Showitme.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary Edition

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider stars Angelina Jolie as the intrepid adventurer, whose exploits send her on a quest for a mysterious and powerful artifact. The newly remastered film will be presented in a 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray with access to a digital copy of the film and nearly 90 minutes of previously released bonus content:

THE COURIER

The Courier is a true-life spy thriller, the story of an unassuming British businessman Greville Wynne (Benedict Cumberbatch) recruited into one of the greatest international conflicts in history. At the behest of the UK's MI-6 and a CIA operative (Rachel Brosnahan), he forms a covert, dangerous partnership with Soviet officer Oleg Penkovsky (Merab Ninidze) in an effort to provide crucial intelligence needed to prevent a nuclear confrontation and defuse the Cuban Missile Crisis.

THE STEPFORD WIVES

A wealthy San Francisco socialite pursues a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people.

As much as the reboot was a good movie (not a good adaptation really in my opinion), these movies really hit jackpot with Jolie as Lara. Perfect casting.
