I have been a gamer since I was 5 which was LONG ago, I have picked the TOP20 videogames that DESERVE a film or REBOOT. I hope you like my choices if you have any other videogames that NEED to be made into a film just comment below.

I will start with the classics sorry Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Final Fantasy you did NOT make the cut. The reason is for those games are cut is because Mario can NEVER get a movie, Final Fantasy can ONLY work as a CGI film and FF7 which is my ALL TIME FAVORITE of the Final Fanstasy series got a film which was EPIC and does not need another film I say. Sonic and Kirby same as Final Fanstasy NEEDS to be made CGI in order for it to work.

Here are MY TOP20 Videogames that NEED a film or a REBOOT

1. LEGEND OF ZELDA

The reason it NEEDS a film becuase it's 1 of the ALL TIME classic videogames that NEED to be made into a film. The ONLY directors who ONLY handle this game into a film will be Peter Jackson or Guillermo del Toro and I can see Jamie Bell as Link he kinda suits the role. Also I love the games.

2. METAL GEAR SOLID

Same as Legend of Zelda ALL TIME classic game that NEEDS to be made into a film. SONY Pictures picked up the film rights for the Metal Gear Solid series. Only directors who can pull it off is the guy who directed District 9 or JJ Abrams, I do not know why but I think he can make a good Metal Gear Solid. Also they need Christan Bale or Mischa Collins for the role Snake

3. STREET FIGHTER

This NEEDS AN FN REBOOT asap, the only time they got this game right as a film was the Animation movies which were great. For the directors who can pull it off are those The Wachowski Brothers or James McTeague to direct the game into a film.

4. MORTAL KOMBAT

Warner Brothers have confirmed about MORTAL KOMBAT getting a reboot but it still NEEDS a film into the big screens once again, WB might have chosen the director for the reboot but I HOPE it gets and R rating because that would be AWESOME.

5. HALO

Paramount Pictures picked up the film rights for the game but HALO has to get into the big screen within 3-4 years or I am done with HALO. Steven Speilberg will be invovled in the film from what HALO creator said anybody think JJ Abrams to direct it after he finishes Star Trek 2.

6. GOD OF WAR

Same as METAL GEAR SOLID, SONY Picture picked up the film rights since they published the games. Finding a director for the film will be pretty difficult. I hope it gets made into a film soon well not too soon but within 3-4 years.

7. Uncharted

Same as MGS and GOD OF WAR, SONY published the games so they get to make it UNCHARTED Series are THE BEST PS3 games out there and even the TOP10 BEST VIDEOGAMES made. The director of Limitless might direct the film if so I hope he casts rather Jake Gyllenhaal, Mischa Collins, Jensen Ackles or Chris Evans for the role of Nathan Drake and JK Simmons as Victor "GODDAMN" Sullivan.

8. DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS, AWAKENING, DAO2

The DRAGON AGE games are 1 of my all time best RPG games I played and same as ALMOST of ALL BIOWARE games Warner Brothers and LEGENDARY Pictures picked up the film rights for it.
Same directors to helm these films NEED to be Peter Jackson or Guillermo del Toro or I will NOT watch them or they don't get Eva Green to play Morrigan.

9. GEARS OF WAR

I forget who picked up the film rights for this game I think Paramount Pictures or Lionsgate. Either way ONLY directors I think who can pull it off is Kathryn Bigelow and the director of District 9 or they join forces to make the GEARS OF WAR to the big screen.

10. DEVIL MAY CRY

I like the DEVIL MAY CRY series the anime was pretty good, SONY picked up the film rights for me in order for that to work make sure Paul WS Anderson, Uwe Boll, that director who made Max Payne DO NOT touch this game same as the others. Have to admit Paul WS Anderson did made a good Mortal Kombat film which is probably his ONLY good film 3 Musketeers was ok.

11. RESIDENT EVIL

This NEEDS AN GODDAMN REBOOT after Resident Evil Retribution because Leon, Barry NEED to make 1 appearance into that crap film series for me to clearly admit it NEEDS a REBOOT. For future casting directors get Joe Manganiello ,Bryce Dallas Howard as the Redfield siblings, Jensen Ackles or Ian Somerholder as Leon S Kennedy, James Marsters as Albert Wesker, Natalie Portman as Jill Valentine as long they got ANY of them to be on the RE-Boots then I AM OK with it.

12. MASS EFFECT

Warner Brothers and LEGENDARY Pictures picked up the film rights for the MASS EFFECT series. JJ Abrams or James Cameron to direct but James is busy with AVATAR 2-3 so I doubt it. As long it stays true to the game then it will be on my "must go see" before I die.

13. INFAMOUS

SONY publishes and owns Suckerpunch Studios so they OWN INFAMOUS. For me in order for Infamous to work as a film they NEED to stay true to the game and don't get Jason Statham for Cole he is too OLD for the role. For directors I do not got any to think of for the moment.

14. CALL of DUTY (Modern Warfare) series

I think Universal picked up the films rights for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. Directors Kathryn Bigelow she is GREAT on war films.

15. STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC ERA

Lucasfilms own the Star Wars film rights but they are owned by Warner Bros, for a 3 movie contract from what I heard. For directors for the series I would say Zack Snyder for the fight scenes but I don't trust him for using the SLOW motion TOO MANY times. So I have to say David Yates, Kenneth Branagh or Matthew Vaughn to direct.

16. STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASED

Same as KOTOR I can see this as a film is because the 1st game had over one million copies sold its debut month. The game has sold over seven million copies as of 2010,and it is the fastest-selling Star Wars video game. As long they keep Sam Witwer as Starkiller and they get Tim Roth as General Kota.

17. SHADOW of the COLOSUS

This game had EPIC graphics when it came out for PS2 when it got HD-Remastered for the PS3 I got it and its still AWESOME. SONY picks up the film rights to ALL of there SONY published games. For a director as long they can make it AWESOME.

18. SOUL CALIBUR

I like playing the SOUL CALIBUR games I was dissapointed of how SOUL CALIBUR IV turned out for adding Darth Varder, Starkiller and Yoda to promote Star Wars the Force Unleashed game. Universal picked up the film rights for this game I am pretty sure.

19. THE SLY COOPER Series

Same as EVERY SONY game, SONY picked up the film rights back in 2005 AFTER SLY3 came out. SLY COOPER can ONLY work as a CGI Animated film and they get the original voice crew to reprise their roles from the games.

20. THE RESISTANCE Triology

I love these games the plot is easy to be made into a film and SONY already picked up the film rights back in 2008 after the 2nd Resistance came out. The directors I can see direct this is Matt Reeves, Kathryn Bigelow or director of Ditrict 9.

That is it I hope you liked MY TOP20 Videogames that NEED a film or REBOOT. I am working on a Resident Evil Fancast which will be out tomorrow evening. If you have any other videogames that NEED to be made into a film comment below
