After a one-month exclusive residence on HBO Max, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced today that Wonder Woman 1984 will be available for 48-hour rental on all PVOD platforms this coming Friday.

Additionally, they've confirmed that the Patty Jenkins-directed superhero sequel will arrive on Digital HD on March 16, and then on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 30.

The combo pack will contain a number of very cool special features for fans of all ages, including "The Making of Wonder Woman 1984," seven additional featurettes spotlighting Gal Gadot and her castmates, and a sure-to-be hysterical gag reel.

Primetime Emmy Award-nominee Patty Jenkins was in the director's chair with a screenplay she co-wrote with Geoff Johns and Dave Callaham. Gal Gadot headlined the sequel with a supporting cast that will feature Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, and Gabriella Wilde.

SYNOPSIS

The fate of the world is once more on the line, and only Wonder Woman can save it. This new chapter in the Wonder Woman story finds Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) living quietly among mortals in the vibrant, sleek 1980s—an era of excess driven by the pursuit of having it all. Though she’s come into her full powers, she maintains a low profile, curating ancient artifacts and only performing her superheroic acts incognito. But now, Diana will have to step directly into the spotlight and muster all her wisdom, strength and courage in order to save mankind from a world of its own making.

Seriously stop your damn crying about it. This movie wasn't that bad. There's worse movies out there and we all know it. People just love to have something to bitch about. Superman 3 ,Superman 4, Supergirl, Batman & Robin, Electra, Catwoman, Steel, Spider Man 3, and that's not counting them all. Day one for me. Yes the story could have been better but it's still a fairly decent movie.

@n1ghtw1ng2832 - People don't really talk about it that much. When they do, the usual opinion is that it wasnt bad just forgettable

Really don't know if I will watch it again, let alone buy it.

Snyder's stupid savage isn't Wonder Woman, but for 1984, Jenkins went too fat in the other direction.

The first Wonder Woman was the perfect middle ground.

I like the scene where WW learns how to fly. That was a beautiful moment.

The rest? Teetered from really mind-numbingly bad, to unintentionally funny, and back again.

@GothamSon - I found that scene distracting because of the music choice. Couldn't they have created an original theme specifically for that scene?

@Moriakum - Yeah that's valid about the score, but I've been waiting since the Justice League premiere on Cartoon Network to see a live action Diana fly.

@Moriakum - Same here. So much so, that I immediately switched off WW84, and watched Kick-Ass instead.

I was 11 elen years old when Batman Forever came out and
(back then) i loved this movie.
I think i would also liked WW84 if it was released back in 1995,
when i was still a child.

As adult viewer ... well, the movie is mixed bag.

Look I hate this movie... BUT I might still get that steelbook to complete my DC collection. I know I know, why buy it when you dont like it, but I didnt buy Iron Man 3 back in the day initially and by the time I realized I wanted to have the whole MCU a decent slipcover edition was hard to find and I dont want that to happen again. Plus... thats a cool steelbook no matter how shitty the movie is lol

I want a full MCU and DCEU Blu-Ray collection but I don't think I can bring myself to tarnish my collection with Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds Of Prey.
