Suicide Squad Director Says The Joker's Damaged Tattoo Was "One Step Too Far"
There were a lot of elements in Suicide Squad that came in for backlash, but arguably the most derided aspect of the film was Jared Leto's "Juggalo" Joker.
Now, director David Ayer has admitted that The Joker's tattoos - or at least, one of 'em - might have taken the character's "edgy" look a little too far.
Yes I have to fall on that sword. It was one step too far. https://t.co/WE80aWUTwy— David Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) September 24, 2018

Is Scott Derrickson Teasing Doctor Strange 2?
Though Doctor Strange 2 will almost certainly happen at some point, Marvel Studios still hasn't given it the offcial greenlight. However, there's some speculation that the first film's director may be teasing an imminent announcement with his latest Tweet.
This isn't the first time Scott Derrickson has shared comic book panels featuring The Sorcerer Supreme, but the fact that this particular issue is part of the "If Eternity Should Fail" arc could be telling, as an adaptation of that story would serve as a natural follow-up to the events of the first movie.

This "Sisterhood" teaser actually includes an intriguing callback to the original show, as the trio come across a photo of Melinda Warren while flicking through The Book of Shadows.
Perhaps this won't be a full reboot after all?
Former DC Boss Diane Nelson Deletes Twitter After Toxic Fan-Backlash
Toxic fandom has driven yet another figure in the public eye off social media, as former DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson has deleted her Twitter account.
Nelson Tweeted our praise for Todd Philips' upcoming Joker movie, but her phrasing led many Zack Snyder fans to assume she was taking a shot at the divisive director's tenure with WB.
“LOVE IT! Great story, great actor, specific and strong vision from talented director. What DC should have been doing since Nolan. Even if die hard fans struggle with his vision.#goodmoviesaregoodmovies“
Despite Nelson following this up with an assurance that she was not dissing Snyder, the response was evidently vicious enough for her to delete her account.
