Whether you love them, hate them, or collect them like a maniac, chances are you'll have heard of Funko Pops. The immensely popular vinyl figures have overtaken comic book stores and you can find ones based on everything from Captain Marvel to Titanic and UFC! Now, a new report claims that a Funko movie is currently in the works from Warner Bros.

As you can see, a leaked image doing the rounds online this weekend seemingly reveals that a Funko movie (which is said to be a hybrid of live-action/animation) is in development at the studio.

Nothing official has been revealed so it's best not to get too excited just in case this has been faked or things don't pan out, but in a later Tweet, this same leaker claimed that the characters "confirmed" for the project include Darth Vader, Deadpool, Hellboy, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, and Baby Groot.

If that's accurate, the movie would clearly be reaching out to all fanbases and it's not remotely hard to imagine this being a hit along the lines of something like The LEGO Movie

The biggest question here, of course, is how all those different licenses could be used in one movie - then again, we saw LEGO Star Wars characters cross paths with the likes of Batman in the aforementioned animated movie from the same studio so it could happen.

As always, we'll keep you guys updated as we have more details.

FunkoPop must be doing well with a movie coming out and there also is the Gears of War game that is coming out, too.

I honestly don't see the hype, because they are just bobble heads, but to each their own.

From some other concept artwork floating around the Internet, it seems to be more akin to a “Toys” movie, with the regular-sized Funko Pops navigating a darkened office space or maybe an Art Studio, climbing on people’s desks, sinks, and computers and such. There are 4 characters that I assume are original to the film: “Ollie Otter (blue cartoon otter Funko), Colt Cooper (cowboy), Broad Sword (blonde with horns and a sword) and Weeping Willow (which seems to be two characters, or one who transforms... a woman with blue hair, and a blue, tentacled humanoid).

There are also a lot of famous character Funko Pops paired off, often in extreme combos... (Some Of these are hard to make out) Darth Vader and Hello Kitty, Imperator Furiosa and Rainbow Dash, Scorpian from Mortal Combat and a Care Bear, etc. There are a bunch of scene concepts of what looks like Wonder Woman interacting with a cowardly Bob Ross(?). Maybe an entire collection of vampire figures from different properties, and maybe a collection of Queens (the evil one from Snow White, Elizabeth, Victoria, Freddy Mercury, maybe Cersei Lannister...). Some other characters look to be Hellboy, Deadpool, Pennywise, Freddy Kruger, Baby Groot...
