Era-ending indeed. However, that's not the only big news today from Bongo Comics. Bongo's other major publication, Spongebob Comics, is slated for an "extended break" with an uncertain future. Bongo will be one of the properties affected by the Disney-21st Century Fox buyout, so what happens next to the niche comic publisher is anyone's guess.
