In less than a month, Winnie the Pooh will venture from the 100 Acre Wood to London in Christopher Robin, Disney's live-action adaptation of the classic series.

The movie centers on an older Christopher Robin who has "lost his way" - caught up in work-life and all those pesky adult things. Looking to help Robin rediscover the joys of life, Pooh and the rest of his lovable stuffed animal pals venture into our world to remind him of the simple pleasures of life once again.

The new sneak peek trailer gives us a glimpse of what is undoubtedly Pooh's greatest adventure yet as he travels to London. And in case you were wondering how everyday people would react to a talking stuffed bear, well, the trailer answers that too.

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s “Christopher Robin,” the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.

Christopher Robin looks like a nice mix of comedic fun and heartwarming storytelling that will probably teach us a lesson or two about enjoying the little things in life. Due out in theaters August 3, tickets for Christopher Robin have gone on sale today. Disney and actor Ewan McGregor (Christopher Robin) released a short message celebrating.

Okay I’ve asked this before but this time seriously have to ask. What the actual [frick] does this have to do with comics? Besides a legit comic strip in the paper what does this have to with anything that relates to this site? Is Disney secretly in control of this site?

@ExpertlyMediocr - ummm yeah nah just because the actors had those roles doesn’t give this film a reason to be considered comic book related. Less you want to start something like the film hostiles to be considered cbm related because it stars Christian bale or perhaps that 70s show is a Geek show because Seth green who voiced Howard the duck in gotg played a supporting role and venom in Spider-Man 3 was played by Thopher Grace. I mean where does it cut off?

@MrNegative - you must be new here, sure, most of the news is comic related in some form, but this is definitely an entertainment site. Why don't you just scroll past?

This looks amazing. I wouldn't be caught dead in a theater watching it, but I'll rent the shit out of this movie.

I don't get this at all... Why are we seeing things like Winnie the Pooh, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Mission Impossible here? I thought this was COMIC BOOK MOVIE .com. Yes, the critters look really cool in the Winnie movie, but they are not comic book movies. Do people here really care about this stuff? I mean, seriously... Tom Cruise?! Who gives a shit? Let's stick with the base. We don't want to go the way of MTV, showing every kind of crap out there BUT music vids.

@benjithegreat - the Sabrina show is based on a comic that recently came out with the same name along with that Sabrina the teenage witch was originally a comic from archie Comics, Mission impossible has a had Comics, and so has Winnie the Pooh for some odd reason.

@SuperbatSpider1003 - Well... but let's not get technical... We all know we're here for superheroes - not Scrooge McDuck, Richie Rich, Archie and Mickey Mouse, right?

@SuperbatSpider1003 - He was? I don't remember seeing him in any of the trailers. I don't understand why, when you cast Peter Capaldi as the voice of Rabbit, you wouldn't feature the character in more of the promotions.

Maybe his absence means he will die in the movie.
