DEATH NOTE: Check Out The Creepy First Trailer For Adam Wingard's Live-Action Manga Adaptation

Netflix has just debuted the first trailer for The Guest director Adam Wingard's adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata's Death Note, which stars Natt Wolff as Light and Willem Dafoe as Ryuk.

We had zero promotion leading up to this, but Netflix has now premiered the first teaser trailer for Adam Wingard's (The Guest, You’re Next) live-action adaptation of Death Note.

For those unfamiliar with the story, it follows a student named Light Turner (Nat Wolff) who uncovers a mysterious notebook that kills people if their name is written in it. We don't get a proper look at Willem Dafoe's Ryuk, but we do hear him right at the end and it's creepy as hell.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
