The first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has been shared online, and it reveals a brand-new, near-illegible logo for the Marvel Studios threequel...

Production is now underway on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and a behind-the-scenes photo from the set has revealed an updated title treatment for the Marvel Studios threequel.

Spotted on the back of a chair, this strange new logo spells out the subtitle "Quantumania" in almost indecipherable lettering, which might well be alien in origin. We know that the Quantum Realm will factor into the plot in a significant way, and there's speculation that this could be written in the language of the Microverse.

This would make sense, since the MCU's Quantum Realm is basically an amalgamation of the Microverse and the Quantum Zone from the comics.

Whatever the case may be, this is a pretty cool-looking logo... even if it is just barely legible!

Peyton Reed will step back behind the camera for Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne's (Evangeline Lilly) next adventure, which will feature the return of Jonathan Majors as the villainous Kang the Conqueror and the debut of Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer are set to return as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. "Wombats" Luis (Michael Peña) and Kurt (David Dastmalchian) will also be back as Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) sidekicks, but T.I. (Dave) is believed to have been dropped from the movie amid multiple allegations of sexual assault against him and his wife.

Lilly recently hinted that Corey Stoll is also set to return in some capacity as Yellowjacket.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2023.

@Spidey91 - It DOES say Quantumania, it's just the letters are overlapping with each other. Also, some of the letters like the "NTU' and "NIA" are integrated.

OT, but how come no one is talking about all the emails Ruby Rose shared yesterday?

@Benjamitesandwich - she shared a bunch of emails that seemed to point to poor work conditions, and a lot of persistence over her continuing to work within days of surgery.

@Feralwookiee - after what just happened with Alec Baldwin her claims sure don't seem to be too far-fetched anymore.

@Feralwookiee - and it's not just WB or Netflix, this might be a widespread issue, worse things might still happen if nothing is done about this whole sh*tshow.

@Spidey91 - I have said this for a long time. Movie studios and productions need to be regulated. Like an FDA or FTC but for films. Maybe a Cinema Safety Division that has to be present for productions of films but also approve or deny safety protocols a studio must submit to them. This same division can investigate sexual harassment and assault accusations too and determine whether to ban an actor for life or have them face criminal charges in court. You'll see Hollywood change real quick.

@SonOfAGif - any regulation imposed will be just as corrupt and inefficient as many other government run regulatory bodies.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 10/25/2021, 12:51 PM
@lawndart - It depends on how you look at it. An outside regulation organization can easily be swayed by companies giving big "donations" or pay outs to push the safety approvals but that's where these things need to be publically shared with the cast and crew along with the unions.

@SonOfAGif - the federal and state agencies can be swayed just as easily. I’ve seen things be conveniently swept under the rug, or at least it happens depending on agendas
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 10/25/2021, 1:27 PM
@lawndart - No matter what type of oversight comes into play there will always be corruption at an entry or managerial level. People with bad intentions will always poison a department they work for. But that's why it's important to have multiple avenues for people to go to for help. OSHA is one of them but it seems like that's non-existent when it comes to movies. As long as there are multiple resources for help and investigation they can launch internal or external investigations against corruption and potential crime.

@Feralwookiee - if this was really a problem though, how come no one else on the entire crew/production are backing her up? Instead multiple other actors have said exactly the opposite!?! 🤣 it’s a bunch of he said she said with this story!
CharleyBologna
CharleyBologna - 10/26/2021, 9:03 AM
@SonOfAGif - You do know that the working conditions in your average fast food restaurant are just as dangerous, just as abusive, and just as vile as any movie set? Probably worse, because they are staffed by kids who have no money, no power and no handlers to protect them?

Why afford the protections you describe to just movie sets? Shouldn't the government station workplace agents of safety at basically every business?
