A new batch of official Ant-Man and The Wasp stills have been released today and these offer a great new look at what's to come in the sequel along with some very interesting behind the scenes shots...

Ant-Man and The Wasp stands a very good chance of being 2018's most inventive and funniest superhero movie and with Peyton Reed now fully in control after working with many of Edgar Wright's Ant-Man ideas in the 2015 movie, it's going to be very interesting seeing what he brings to the table here. Now, some brand new images have been revealed via the latest issue of Empire Magazine.

These are really cool and offer up an idea of some of the unique visuals Ant-Man and The Wasp will deliver both in and out of the Quantum Realm. We also get a much better look at the villainous Ghost.

In this awesome shot from the sequel, Scott Lang is clearly hanging out near the Quantum Vehicle. Am I the only one who has never noticed those patterns on the hero's arm, though? They look cool!

Some fans have joked that The Wasp essentially has a penis on the front of her costume (it's a wasp) but if you take a close look at Scott Lang's suit, it's easy to see the ant which has been included on his.

Ant-Man and The Wasp, teaming up! These two look great together and Marvel has definitely done a solid job of designing their looks for the sequel. Here's hoping those carry over into Avengers 4.

Comic book fans have been asking for more female superheroes for quite some time now so it's good to see The Wasp finally receive the spotlight, especially as she should have been in The Avengers!

Director Peyton Reed can be seen talking to Evangeline Lilly in this behind the scenes photo from Ant-Man and The Wasp following the introduction of the hero's suit at the end of the first movie.

Ant-Man or Giant-Man? Here, Scott Lang gets big for reasons unknown and it's going to be a whole lot of fun seeing how the character's powers continue to evolve over the course of this movie.

This very cool piece of concept art shows The Wasp taking flight and seeing as this is essentially her first costume in the MCU, there's a very good chance we'll end up seeing it evolve from here.

The Wasp is tiny in this shot from the movie but there's been a lot of speculation that we'll also get to see her go giant, something there is actually a precedent for in the comic books.

Hank Pym and his daughter Hope didn't have the greatest of relationships in the first movie but it appears as if that will have changed a lot when we find them here, especially without Scott around.

Ant-Man is back inside the Quantum Realm here but will Scott Lang be able to master control of his size-changing abilities the second time around and is this when he finds Janet Van Dyne?

British actress Hannah John-Kamen plays The Ghost in the movie and there's been little in the way of controversy over the fact that the male character has been made a woman on the big screen.

The "pattern" on his arms in the first image is from the magazine, not the suit. The fourth picture down with Hope has it in the upper right.

Also that shot of Ant-Man in the quantum realm is quite obviously from the first movie, it's the original suit he's wearing.

My bet is that they come back just after the snap happened or before and Wasp "dies". Don't see any other way this movie ending or did they say this hasn't any ties to IW?
