Aquaman director James Wan has shared a first offcial glimpse from the currently shooting film, providing us with a lovely new shot of Amber Heard as The Queen of Atlantis, Mera.

We've already seen a few shots of Heard as Mera in Justice League, but as you can see, the character will be sporting a different look for her second big screen appearance. It's difficult to tell is it's an entirely new costume of she's just lost the armor and headpiece etc, but either way, Mera definitely resembles the New 52 incarnation of her comic book counterpart here.

What do you guys think? Aquaman is set to swim into theaters on December 21, 2018.
