Continuing the tradition of international movie posters that are far superior to their domestic counterparts, this latest Chinese Aquaman banner is a thing of beauty.

The image features Jason Momoa's future King of Atlantis locked in combat with his wicked half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson), and we also have another clip from the movie which sees the pair clash tridents in live-action.

Ocean Master gets the upper hand right before the footage ends, but something tells us Arthur is far from defeated!

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

Aquaman swims into theaters on December 21.
