Aquaman blew everyone's minds with that superb five-minute sneak peek and with its December 21st release date rapidly approaching, excitement is understandably high for the DC Comics adaptation. Some fans, however, don't want to see the DCEU find any sort of success and that's probably why someone attempted to start a rumour about Warner Bros. cutting over twenty minutes of footage.

Needless to say, that immediately brought back memories of what happened to the likes of Suicide Squad and Justice League but director James Wan was quick to point out that there's no truth to that.

In other news, a couple of
new stills have been released which take us behind the scenes of Aquaman and put the spotlight on Wan alongside stars Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry) and Amber Heard (Mera).

Are you excited for Aquaman? Let us know your thoughts on that and these images in the usual place.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

Aquaman is set to be released on December 21st, later this year.

Well looky there, actual sets. I guess the whole everything is CGI is sort of unfounded.

The rumor was started by a Snyder bro that James Wan blocked on his Twitter a few weeks ago.

@Battabing - "Snyder bro" is too nice a term for him. The proper term is Snyder extremist. When you are determined to get Zack Snyder's cut of "Justice League", that you're willing to sacrifice what's left of his universe, and potentially get him fired, you're not a Snyder fan, a Snyder bro, or a #ReleaseTheSnyderCut member, you're a Snyder extremist.

All movies have a much lengthier initial cut and get trimmed down to a desirable run time for theaters. Not an issue.

The hype for this movie feels only existent on this websites threads. I’ll give this John Carter of the Carribian a chance in theaters but I am not getting excited for this like I was with BvS or JL. With DCWB and Mehmoa’s track records I’m expecting this to be an ok CBM.

Can't wait for December to check this out, looks to be the 2nd solid entry that the DCEU needs after Wonder Woman's fantastic debut last year.
