James Wan's AQUAMAN Movie Lands One Time JUSTICE LEAGUE Scribe Will Beall

Aquaman may have a release date (July 27th, 2018), but for some reason, it's become one of those movies many fans refuse to believe is happening until the cameras start rolling. James Wan is going to be at the helm, and now it has a writer in the form of Will Beall. If that name rings a bell, it's because he was hired to pen Justice League before Chris Terrio took over the project for Zack Snyder.

It was revealed way back in 2014 that Warner Bros. were developing Aquaman on dual tracks, meaning they hired Beall and Kurt Johnstad to work on one script while David Leslie Johnson (The Conjuring 2) did another. Then, the plan was possibly to merge them, something which worried many fans.

That didn't pan out anyway, and Beall moved on to work on the Training Day TV show. However, he's now been rehired to rewrite the screenplay by himself as, "all Aquaman development tracks were deep six-ed as Wan and Johns focused on getting the story in ship shape." Now, Beall is working closely with Wan and Geoff Johns in order to make sure that Aquaman is as great as possible.

This is a very positive update anyway, so be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.
