Since we know we're getting a section of the film in the 40s, I'd assume the funeral would be caps funeral after his crash.

Gotta say I really like that Vision rumor... seems like such a good way to put his character through so much and basically kill him.... yet still keep him and bring us a Vision version we know very well. Very excited to see.

Keep Thor alive.

I kinda wanna see Cap wielding Stormbreaker and using it too kill thanos (and also himself dying in the process). Hope Iron Man will become the director of a new SHIELD and member of the illuminati

@MalseMarcel - Cap wielding Mjolnir would be way better since first we already Thor bury Stormbreaker into Thanos' chest nearly killing him.

And second Stormbreaker has no enchantment requiring worthiness to lift it, you just have to be strong since it's heavy. Having Cap wield Mjolnir would truly drive home the fact that he is the ultimate hero, and would make his sacrifice hurt even more.

In fact it hurts just thinking about possibly losing him.

@LongMayHeReign - You see, I always saw the hint of Cap moving it in Avengers 2... as our homage to him lifting it in the comics. I didn't see it as foreshadowing.

Same thing in Infinity War, when they were discussing how to remove Vision's stone from his head. Vision mentioned "No man should stand sacrifice to stand up to Thanos alone" (or something to that effect). Cap then said "but it should". That harkens back to his 1on1 chat with Thanos from the comics where he said "as long as there's one man to oppose you...". THIS makes me think he wont have that iconic chat with Thanos because it was already somewhat said in Infinity War.

@Vigor - I think the point of that was so Cap and Vision could have their "we don't trade lives" moment later when fighting.

@LongMayHeReign - its not just heavy, but Thor also said to the guardians that if they lift they’ll die. It probably isnt build for mortals, and Cap happens to be one (although still an enhanced one)

LongMayHeReign - 8/20/2018, 8:18 AM
@Vigor - No you're right I doubt Cap has the 1 on 1 chat with Thanos but you know Thanos will have some type of henchmen or some shit at some point and I could definitely see Cap doing some wrecking with Mjolnir.

I never saw the Age of Ultron hammer lifting moment as the only nod we would get, as Cap has changed as a character for the better in the films after that moment. In my eyes he has never been more worthy than he is now as he truly has only one goal left to accomplish in his life which is to save lives.

Yes he has always wanted to save and protect but his character arc has made it so that he has nothing else but that, Peggy is dead, Bucky is dead, Sam is dead, Tony won't talk to him, his country disavowed him.

All that's left is to save as many lives as he can even if it means losing his own.

Oh boy here it comes again...

@MalseMarcel - True it's probably filled with Thor's lightning energy mere mortals would probably melt.

I’ve been avoiding A4 articles because I want to know hardly anything about the film since I avoided most of the rumors and such for Infinity War. While I was worried I might stumble into actual spoilers with this article, I don’t see anything that is ground breaking

"On another note, there's a rumour that Captain Marvel will fight The Hulk at some point in the movie."

No. No! Let this not be true. I'm tried of seeing the Hulk get his ass beat
ptick
ptick - 8/20/2018, 8:24 AM
@Vigor - The MCU uses Hulk like some professional wrestlers are used. They see him as established as a beast, so if another character can beat him or go toe-to-toe, it "puts them over."
