The Russo Brothers Tease AVENGERS 4 Title Reveal And "Drastically" Different Phase 4 Plans

Joe and Anthony Russo have revealed when we won't be getting a title reveal for Avengers 4 and weigh in on just how much the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to change moving forward. Check it out!

As you may recall, the end of Captain America: The First Avenger featured our first look at The Avengers with a teaser trailer of sorts. Heading into Avengers: Infinity War, many fans are convinced that the same will be the case for Avengers 4 and that we'll get a title reveal at the very least. Unfortunately, Joe Russo has revealed in a new interview that won't be happening and we all have to just be patient.

"No, no," he confirms in the video below when asked about a last-minute reveal. "It’s going to be quite a long while before people see that title. We need people to see this movie, digest this movie, and then we can tell them what the next story is they’re going to see." This seemingly reiterates reports that Infinity War and Avengers 4 are two very separate movies with their own stories.

"It’s a complete story. It’s got a beginning, middle and an end and the next movie has a beginning, middle and an end, in the same way that Civil War handed off to Infinity War and Infinity War will hand off to the next movie. It’s serialised storytelling without question so there is going to be a correlation, narratively, but we really wanted to make two distinct movies. We weren’t interested in making one long film and getting out the scissors and cutting the scissors and cutting it in half."

"We don’t find that a satisfying cinematic experience so this is a complete story, that’s a complete story, and they’re very different movies." As for how the MCU will change moving into Phase 4, Anthony pointed to a "pretty drastic" difference before Joe added: "I think massively different. I think that this is if Marvel has been writing a book for ten years, it’s the end of the book and someone is going to write a new book. Who knows what that new book will be but this is an ending and that’ll be a new beginning." What do you think comes after Infinity War? Let us know your thoughts below.
