AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Concept Art Reveals A Maniacal Take On James Spader's Android Antagonist

Marvel Studios concept artist Phil Saunders has shared some of his work from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it reveals a sinister, smiling take on the titular android who battled Earth's Mightiest Heroes...

Avengers: Age of Ultron was a busy movie, but one which definitely did the titular villain justice (even if he was a little too snarky for the liking of some fans). He boasted a few different looks across the course of the movie, but some very cool new concept art from artist Phil Saunders offers a maniacal take on the villainous android.

While there are some small differences to the version that ended up on screen, he most definitely resembles the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on the iconic comic book bad guy.

Appropriately, Saunders captioned this Avengers: Age of Ultron concept art with a quote from the 2015 movie: "'When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world... will be metal!'"

There's been no indications that there are plans to bring Ultron back to the big screen, but if a resurrection is going to be teased, it will surely be in WandaVision. After all, The Vision was the one who seemingly put his "father" down, but if Wanda is bringing her lover back, perhaps she'll inadvertently breathe life back into the monster who killed her brother?
