New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Concept Art Seemingly Shows Ellen Page As 'Scarlet Witch'

Elizabeth Olsen may have portrayed the Scarlet Witch in her cinematic debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but new official concept art appears to show X-Men's Kitty Pryde, actress Ellen Page, in the role.

Andy Park has just released more of his concept art from this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron, but this time it features an early costume design for Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch. Or should we say Ellen Page's Scarlet Witch? The artwork appears to show how the X-Men: Days of Future Past actress would look as the character. Was she initially up for the role? Or was she, perhaps, a "prototype" for Marvel's casting direction similar to Saoirse Ronan? Despite the concept art striking a resemblance to Page, the artist told me that it was very much unintentional.
