Sloppy Plot-Hole in Avengers: Age of Ultron

These is a major plot hole in Avengers Age of Ultron, and I'm talking about Loki’s scepter aka the Mind stone. Is Marvel giving the fans the middle finger?

So after the whole craziness of the Avengers started to fade in my head, I realized that there is a major and very sloppy plot hole in the movie (in fact, it’s a plot hole that started in Phase I).

The plot hole is the “Loki’s scepter”, that now we all now is the mind stone. We first saw the staff/scepter right in the begging of the first Avengers movie.
Thanos - for some reason that only God/Kevin Feige knows – gives Loki the scepter, and go and take over Earth for him, and in the process get him the Tesseract (we will be back to this stupidly in a moment). So Loki goes to Earth, and we get The Avengers.

By the end of the movie, in the big climax fight in New-York, the Tesseract is shielded by some invisible force field, and so Black Widow gets her hands on the scepter and uses it to shut down the cube and therefor to close that Stargate in the sky. Why and how does the scepter can cancel the Tesseract? I don’t know, but I will let this one slide.

So battle is over, Avengers have won, but before they can go and eat the Shawarma, they stand above Loki who just wakes up after the Hulk smashing that he got. And you can clearly see that Black Widow is holding the freaking scepter in her hands, damn, she even stands right next to Thor!

So after all of that, Thor takes Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard, but for some unknown and illogical reason, he leaves the scepter on Earth, with humanity! Why???

Thor saw the power of the freaking scepter, he knows that there is something alien with it, and this is not a device to leave on Earth. Why in the blue hell will Thor will allow the humans (us) to keep the bloody thing? Did he forget about it? Did he say something like: “hey, Black Wi…I mean Natasha, this staff thing looks good on you, please, you keep it…”? Or did Thor just went with the Asgardian logic and said that too many powerful artifacts cannot stay on Asgard (just like the stupid Aether/ Reality Stone). I mean, how does it even make any sense?

Now I’m ok with Hydra getting their hands on the scepter, because they infiltrated Shield, so maybe they stole it or something.
Now I was ok with all of that even after that post credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where we see that Hydra have the scepter.

Now let me ask you this, if Thor didn’t really care about the scepter in Avengers, then why in the hell he is in such a rush to get it back in Age of Ultron?

In the opening scene, they go on that mission to get the scepter, the same stupid scepter that Thor could have just taken 3 years ago, when it was right next to his bloody face! Stupid Thor, how irresponsible can he be?

Now, I’m aware that these are just movies, and there is no reason to be angry and take these movies too seriously, but still, this is just stupid.
This is Marvel thinking that I’m stupid or some 12 year old kid that thinks that Marvel movies are the Holy Grail.

So yes, this is a very big and very sloppy plot hole.
But back to Thanos, the lazy titan. We all know that he wants to get those Infinity Stones. Before the Avengers he needed 5, because he already had the mind stone in his possession. But Thanos decided to buy a dollar with another dollar, so he gave the mind stone to Loki just so he could get the space stone. Thanos is so lazy, and Marvel is making him to be so stupid.

Either the is a dumbass and he didn’t know that he has one of the Infinity Stones in his hands, so he gave the scepter to Loki, thinking that it’s just some mind controlling thingy.

Or, he knew what it was, but he decided that the best way to take over Earth and get the space stone is to put the mind stone in the hands of Loki, and in a sense gambling with it. Either way it makes Thanos to be super stupid.

But I have to ask the question, why? Why does Thanos needs all of these middlemen to do his work for him? Now I get it, it’s cool that someone does the dirty work for you, but why? It’s freaking Thanos, can’t he just get the stones all by himself? He had one, he knew that another one is one Earth, why not just go and take it (well then Avengers will never happen). He knew that about the power stone, but yet again he sent somebody else to get the stone for him.

This just makes so many plot points in both Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy pretty much the same. Thanos needs a stone, so he sends someone to take it for him, as he promises to that bad guy that he will take over/destroy a world for him.

All of these stuff really makes my brain hurt, because even though these stuff are “minor”, they really make me just angry. It just proves to me that I should turn off my brain when I watch these Marvel movies, but then, what is the difference between the Marvel movies and the Transformers movies?
