Cap when he went back in time:

I disagree. All things happened in 2012 all happened in that timeline, which only created only one new one. The same goes for 2014. For 1970 and 2013, I think that if Cap returned everything correctly that doesn’t create new ones. The only debatable one is the post-WWII one, since the directors and writers don’t seem to agree

This "list" feels eerily similar to one you put out a few days back...

@L0RDbuckethead - I literally said the same thing after he posted this, but he deleted my comment...

Most of these are resolved by returning the stones.

@Evansly - My understanding is that returning the stones to each time only kept those realities stable — they’re like the bottom pieces in a game of Jenga. But all the stuff the Avengers did in each time still happened, resulting in different outcomes — like removing different mid and top pieces in that game of Jenga.

But what about the main reality, 2023? Aren’t the stones gone? Should that reality collapse? Well, no. Thanos clearly states the stones were atomized, not removed from reality completely. So their power is still holding space and time together — they just can’t be utilized easily anymore.

If Captain America of the present returns to the past to marry Peggy and have children with her, it is possible that the Captain of the past will continue frozen inside the Hydra Jet.

This fact may have consequences in the future.

You mean 5, All the 2012s, 2013s, and 2014s would all be part of the same reality. There isn't a different reality for each change made in each timeline they went back to.

RextheKing - 5/17/2019, 9:18 AM
@RextheKing - Realized that may be a little confusing the way I worded it. All the 2012s would be one reality, all the 2013s another reality, and so on.

@RextheKing - Yeah. I counted six.

Alt-2017 (Hawkeye steals his kid's baseball glove.)
Alt-2012 (Loki escapes, Cap knows about Bucky.)
Alt-2013 (Jane saw a raccoon, I guess.)
Alt-2014 (No Thanos, Gamora, Nebula, or Guardians, etc.)
Alt-1970 (Pym particles missing.)
Alt-1945 (Cap settles down with Peggy and probably creates a utopia.)

1, 3, and 5 are all such minor deviations that (depending on how Marvel's time travel ultimately works) they may not actually result in different timelines at all. They've been contradictory in their statements and I think it's clear the Russos, Markus, McFeely, and Feige aren't all on the same page about it.

But 2, 4, and 6 are all pretty major changes and could potentially result in interesting alternate realities if revisited.

Though, I would love to find out that Hawkeye taking that glove somehow ended up butterfly hurricaning Mysterio's timeline or something.

@Spock0Clock - Forgot about the test run, thanks. With that being said we can probably bump that to 10 if you count the four times Scott went back in Bruce's test run. Given that we didn't see the consequences of him going back it's probably best to keep them out though. Plus it would make Wilding right, not completely, but still enough to say [frick] that.
