This version of the Hulk was awful. It killed any want for a Hulk sequel.

@MexCowboyNation - Yeah, I wasn't a fan at all of the Professor Hulk. He was perfect in Ragnorak. Definitely my least favorite character of Endgame.

@Philvis - Professor Hulk wasn't earned. Any set up in Ragnarok and Infinity War was destroyed by making Professor Hulk be there from the beginning of Endgame. I would have had Banner not Hulk out for the five years after Infinity War because Hulk is scared. When Banner meets the Ancient One, that is when Hulk and Banner become one and turn to Professor Hulk.

@soberchimera - THANK YOU!!! I've been sighting this exact comic book story to everyone who will listen! The Russos have no idea what to do with Hulk or have any faintest idea of this character. I waited since that comic to see my favorite character Smart Hulk on the movies and they totally ruined him.

They dropped the ball big time with everyone - not a single character in Endgame was done justice. All of them were a mess. Admittedly i believe a large portion of the blame lies with the writers, who seemed to ignore every film they did not work on.

God I hope he goes back to being a monster. This took away the three most defining elements of his character; his anger, his smashing, and his dichotomy with Banner.
