So Nakia was supposed to be in it, but I'm guessing Lupita Nyong'o wasn't available.

The hate targeted at this moment has revealed a lot of stupid. Like when the kitchen light makes cockroaches scatter, except in this case the cockroaches skitter out from under the refrigerator into the center of the room and mumble bitterly.

So it looks like Lupita Nyong’o was supposed to be in Endgame at some point.

This and the Disney princess scene from Wreck It Ralph 2 were the first times I'd watched a movie and literally saw an accidental movie pitch pop up right in the middle of a film to sell me a ticket to something that didn't exist and I still bought my ticket both times. As I've let the dust settle on it a bit, I really wish this scene could've been longer somehow. I wish the whole fight could've been longer, but this could've been some of the most complex action the MCU's ever had given the power sets included. At this point the I feel the only thing holding back an A Force movie is the fact that Phase 4 is so so soooooo forward thinking that it's already moved into Galaxy brain territory, otherwise this would've been a no brainer

Also, what did Nakia know and when did she know it

@OmegaDaGrodd - The whole battle should have been a good 15 minutes longer, that scene needed at least a good minute or two more.

*angry fragile masculinity noises*
moment is fine, last a whole 15 seconds of a three hour movie where Spider-Man rides a Pegasus and people travel in time through a miniature universe, including a talking space raccoon.

now, a whole movie of just that...

If there ever is an A-Force style film, it probably will happen in a film in which has a female lead attached to it. In this case, I believe Captain Marvel 2 will be that film. Besides Carol Danvers, the film will probably include Ms. Marvel & Photon (after their Disney+ appearances) & who knows perhaps She-Hulk, assuming that series happens before Captain Marvel 2. You only need a few more heroes to form a team, and if Captain Marvel 2 is set as a cosmic film, I think the rest of A-Force will come from the Guardians & Eternals casts.

I once thought A-Force would include a majority of the female characters but now I don't think so but will concentrate on only characters connected to Captain Marvel and her cosmic story. I think Captain Marvel will adapt the Secret Invasion storyline, which could be seen as a 2nd part of the Kree/Skrull war in the MCU. It could also introduce a fellow Young Avenger, Hulkling as the Skrull son of Wendy Lawson in which A-Force goes on a mission to find & protect. Perhaps She-Hulk is the character that gives the kid his nickname. Any case, if Feige wants to introduce another member of Young Avengers as well as providing a reason for A-Force to exist I can't think of any better reason than do it in Captain Marvel 2.

I'm going to assume we get an adult version of A-Force loooooooong before it actually happens at Disney.

Black Widow is the one for certain I would have wanted to see in that scene. The moment, though, was just a little too convenient, as far as all the women (and Peter Parker, haha!) being there at the same time.

I loved that moment but they were talking about backing up CD. Only one I can think of coming close to that is Scarlett Witch and Valkyrie. The rest... da fuq is Mantis gonna do?
