It probably still has some changes. Different backgrounds, characters added or remove from shot or the addition of cast ensembles shots aren’t anything new in Marvel trailers

@L0RDbuckethead - It's one scene, people are implying that the trailers are mostly fake
XelCorp
XelCorp - 3/21/2019, 12:52 PM
@JustAChillFan - wrong. In the first trailer There was a shot of Natasha Smiling at Bruce in Wakanda with the arm of the hulk buster in frame with Ruffalo.. that was never in the movie. The second trailer had Thor standing up in nivadelir summoning lighting with no hammer and Rocket and Groot are watching him. That scene is Never in the movie. The shot with War machine and Natasha looking straight up into the sky together is never in the movie. Even the last shot of trailer 2 is highly altered. In the trailer you just see Spider-Man swinging and dodging fireballs. In the movie during this scen he actually has his mechanical arms out and he’s holding mantis while the overall lighting is even darker (more Smokey). So no the Wakanda running scene with hulk is not the only scene.

@XelCorp - Every movie has scenes in trailers that don't end up in the movie, it's called editing.

@L0RDbuckethead - Always thought something was wrong with this scene. No reason why Hulk should be running at the same pace as everyone else.
XelCorp
XelCorp - 3/22/2019, 9:26 AM
@JustAChillFan - So they are only trailer scenes, therefore fake movie scenes that they know wouldn’t end up in the movie due to their final draft of the script/story prior to even editing anything.
JustAChillFan
JustAChillFan - 3/22/2019, 11:56 AM
@XelCorp - No, it's called marketing your movie in advance with the footage you have completed working on the most at that time. Lots of movies are still being edited, scenes being cut the week or so before the release date. They have no idea what they will cut from the movie until they start to put everything together and see what actually fits. The movie they end up showing the public usually doesn't reflect the script 100%, things work on paper that don't always work on film and they need to adjust accordingly. So no, not fake movie scenes. If you actually understood the film making process, you would know this.

@XelCorp - There is very much a difference between constructing a shot (& notice I say "constructing" and not "shooting", because some can basically be done entirely with CGI) for the explicit purpose of misdirection in a trailer, and having shots that were indeed in earlier versions of the rough cut wind up being included in the first couple previews of something, but did not make it to the final locked theatrical cut of the movie.
Hell there have been some movies in the past (I'm blanking on titles now), where it wasn't "fake scenes" or anything, but trailers that wound up using like 5, 6, 7 or even up to 10 different shots but then were all cut for the final movie. That can and has been kind of jarring for an audience.

But back to in terms of Infinity War, c'mon, this is pretty easy to sort out. The "whole group running toward camera" was a few different composites mixed together intended to, indeed, fake out the audience. A scene like Bruce wearing dress casual sort of clothes in the outdoor setting of Wakanda while talking with Nat, those were obviously moments filmed normally as part of the shooting schedule but a variety of reasons hit the cutting room floor along the way.

@JustAChillFan - So what you’re saying is they had it on paper for hulk to not come out again until the end of the movie, and they put that part in the trailer and then all of a sudden changed that part of his story around last minute to him remaining as banner?
JustAChillFan
JustAChillFan - 3/24/2019, 12:18 PM
@XelCorp - I wouldn't be surprised, Movies change all the time, it's called re-shoots buddy.

@JustAChillFan - reverting to name calling like a man child. I don’t care about “winning online arguments as they’re not that important to me unlike you on the other hand clearly. I don’t agree with what you’re saying so suck it the hell up and deal with it. Think what you THINK and I will think what I THINK., end of story and discussion. Shut your online punk a** the [Frick] up. Don’t @me with anymore of your stupid shit.
