A moon knight movie from these two would be pretty sick. I remember him as a sort of console exclusive DLC in MUA 1.

Hopefully marvel is lucky enough to find another golden egg such as these writers or directors (Russo bros) again for their future movies. These guys can’t do everything.

So far Phase 4 just seems kind of random and directionless. Apart from being in the MCU, I'm not sure what connects them. In the way that the Infinity Stones connected everything prior.

@MasterMix - To be fair, phase one was kind of like that too. Cause really the infinity stones wern't really playing into it until thanos showed up, even then only thor and cap were connected by the end of it when avengers came out since they both had the tesseract.

@MasterMix - I think that's what makes Phase 4 more exciting. While I don't think it's directionless(it's more of a case of playing their cards close to their chest as not to give up spoilers for Endgame), I think a less connected Phase 4 would be refreshing and the way to go.

A huge complaint from people is the "tv series" feeling of the movies. Phase 3 was trying to have movies feel less connected and I think that's the plan for Phase 4.

@MasterMix - They've sort of fulfilled the big dream they had all those years ago. The movies built to this amazing, almost ridiculous climactic event. ITS ALL CONNECTED paid off in the most profound way. We get it now. Its a living breathing universe, that's bigger and more compelling than we could have ever imagined, even back during Avengers 2012.

They had 3 phases that really crafted and shaped this world. We understand what it is, we know its all connected. The threat that was Thanos and the macguffins that were the stones brought everyone together at some point, but characters like Black Panther, Ant Man, and even Cap and Tony starting out, weren't necessarily connected until the stones came into play.

Now that the universe has really been molded and allowed to be fleshed out for years, you can do whatever without there having to be some grand macguffin to tie it all together (not that it desperately needed that in the first place). It can just be like the comics, a lot of runs (solos) for different characters, some crossovers and team ups with mild threats.

I think the MCU needs to be a little low-key now; get a little small and not preoccupied with some big event for a little bit. Its earned the right to take take a breather from all of the big event stuff.

Phase 4 isn't directionless, we just don't know the plan. Like @MrCool210 pointed out, Phase 1 was just origin movies. We had no idea what the gameplan was other than leading up to Avengers. Looking at what we do know, I'd say Feige is planning Phases 4 and 5 to be heavily inspired by Secret Invasion, Dark Reign, Young Avengers, and Secret Wars (OG and 2015). Everything has been setup for these events to occur over the next 10 years at Marvel.

The ease in which Feige and co. replaced their Inhumans film with the Eternals tells me celestial/cosmic beings will play a huge role moving forward and the world will be populated with more natural born genetically enhanced individuals leading up to our next big crossover event. The MCU will be varied moving forward, and I can't wait to see what it brings.
