CAPTAIN AMERICA Actor Chris Evans Discusses The Final Scene And Line He Shot For AVENGERS 4

Chris Evans recently finished-up reshoots for Avengers 4, and the actor has now revealed a few details about the final scene and line he filmed as Captain America for the movie. More past the jump...

Chris Evans recently appeared to sign off as Captain America over Twitter, and has now shared some details on the final scene he shot as the iconic Marvel hero in Avengers 4.

Evans was quizzed about the sequel's reshoots while appearing at ACE Comic-Con over the weekend, and while he stopped short of going into specifics, he did admit that his final line of dialogue as Steve Rogers was "something really stupid."

Well, you know, it was reshoots, so you’re doing these little picks and pops, and it’s just little things that they need,” Evans explained. “It might have been a line to Paul Rudd. He wasn’t there, but it was a stupid line. The line wasn’t memorable to me [laughs]. The day was more memorable than the line.”

Keep in mind that this won't be - or at least, it's highly unlikely to be - Cap's final line in the movie, it was simply the last scene that Evans shot as the character. At any rate, this is not much more than a fun tidbit as it's difficult to glean anything significant from the actor's comments.

Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
