Chris Evans: "If you’re going to revisit it, it can’t be a cash grab. It can’t be just because the audience wants to be excited. What are we revealing? What are we adding to the story? A lot of things would have to come together."

Beautifully said. I think there's still another Cap story to tell, but it won't be what we need right now. And it's tricky to do it too. The stories that Feige and co. decided to tell for his character encapsulated what Captain America is. To do more stories, you'd likely be retreading old ground. Sure, he could fight more villains, but what are they trying to say with this character if they go that route?

And while the alternate timeline he went to allows for a wealth of new possibilities, it's not necessarily a wealth of opportunities for character development. Unless an amazing story can be crafted, it is best to leave the character where he is. A satisfying arc with a deserved ending.

I'm thinking he's saying he "Boom goes the dynamite" just off the sound of her voice and needs a cig.

@XelCorp - He's saying she sounds like sex, and I'd have to agree. There's a reason the Joker wanted to hit it even if it didn't exist to be hit.

Or better yet, crack that Multiverse and bring in the other guy.

The most logical path back to Cap sounds pretty cynical but here we go.

When Knives Out tanks at the box office, his directing doesn’t produce box office or golden statues and the bank account runs a little thin.

So...2024-2025.

Captain america has been my favorite comic book character since i was 5 years old. What the MCU and Chris Evans has done for me, has left me happier than I ever thought possible with his character. we have had 7 movies with Steve Rogers and I was never disappointed. As a fan, I'm not sure what else i could get away with asking for. If anything, i would maybe like one more movie, set in the past, where we meet the original human torch, and Namor. but I wouldn't mind if it didn't happen. I've been given more than I ever thought I would get, and for that reason, Marvel Studios will always get my money. They literally can do whatever they want, and I'm there. Same with Chris Evans. I'll support anything he wants to do. He handled cap with so much care. sounds weird, but it makes me tear up. I was so glad he got his happy ending. I'm happy with that.
