Hasbro's Latest AVENGERS: ENDGAME Wave Features America's Ass And An Epic "Build A Figure" Bro Thor

Hasbro has revealed its latest wave of Avengers: Endgame action figures at SDCC, and the set includes characters like Iron Man, Valkyrie, Iron Patriot, and a "Build A Figure" Bro Thor. Check them out...

After this weekend, there's a very good chance that Avengers: Endgame will defeat Avatar to become the biggest movie of all-time. In the meantime, with Comic-Con in full swing, new merchandise for the movie has been revealed and that includes an epic new range of Marvel Legends action figures.

The first waves of figures for the movie were a tad underwhelming as they included only Captain America, Ronin, War Machine, and Rescue. The rest were just characters from the comics, and fans couldn't help but point out how many key heroes were missing.

Well, this range more than makes up for that as we have Valkyrie, Heimdall (Avengers: Infinity War), The Vision (Captain America: Civil War), Iron Patriot, Captain America, Iron Man, and Bro Thor. The latter is a "Build A Figure," which means you'll have to buy all of these in order to assemble the hero!

Valkyrie

We've been waiting on a new Valkyrie action figure for a while now and it's great to see her suited up in her Avengers: Endgame costume. It's just a shame there's no Pegasus included with her!

Valkyrie was, of course, one of the female heroes who assembled alongside the rest of "A-Force" in the movie's final battle. Now, we just need a Captain Marvel figure in her present day costume.

Heimdall

Poor Heimdall never really got the chance to shine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he was killed off in the opening few minutes of Infinity War but at least he has his own figure!

This toy is mostly based on how the character looked in Thor: Ragnarok, a movie which gave him more to do than his past few appearances combined. It's crazy how the MCU wasted Idris Elba!

The Vision

The Vision from Captain America: Civil War is something of a random addition to this line of figures but fans have been talking about the android getting his own action figure for some time now.

As you can see, the main reason for picking this one up is to get the "Build A Figure" Thor's body alongside his Stormbreaker hammer. The Vision still looks seriously awesome, though.

Iron Patriot

Hasbro released a War Machine figure for Avengers: Endgame in its previous line, but fans weren't particularly impressed as he wasn't decked out in his Iron Patriot armour from the final battle.

This suit looks phenomenal, and while we still don't know how Rhodey got his hands on this after being buried beneath the Avengers Compound, there's no denying that it looked amazing in action.

Captain America

On Hasbro's display at Comic-Con, this figure was posed with his back to fans and his butt displayed in a very prominent position. It makes sense after all, as the hero does have America's Ass!

That aside, this is an awesome Captain America action figure based on his likeness from Avengers: Endgame when he travels back in time and poses as his past self in order to steal the Mind Stone.

Iron Man

Tony Stark's final suit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's about time this armour received the spotlight and it looks awesome. Honestly, it's surprising it took Hasbro this long to release it!

One of the coolest things about this, of course, is the fact that it comes bundled with the Nano Gauntlet, but an alternate hand with the Stones from the end of the film would have been cooler!

And here he is in all his glory: Bro Thor! It's fair to say that this is one of the best "Build A Figures" Hasbro has done for quite some time, and fans are definitely going to want to piece him together.

Where's my butch Carol!!!! They screwed up the face on the Captain Marvel series, so I keep hoping they will do a better sculpt with the new suit and haircut. Sigh.

Still, glad to see Heimdall got some loving, and Valkyrie (even though I prefer my Ragnarok version). And thumbs up on the Big Lebowski Thor. The others, meh. It's like they are ticking boxes on Iron Man and Cap variants and Vision's just... Vision... He doesn't exactly change.

Although MCU Thor has been derailed from what I like in Comic Book Thor, I never knew they would be able to make a god so relatable and down to human level. I hope he doesn't get in shape immediately in the next movie.

why do modern action figures always have that shit-ass hinge below the breast in the torso? No one bends there. It always makes the male figure look like they have man-boobs. It's pathetic that 1980s GI Joe and Visionaries figures have better torsos than modern stuff.

Was it too much to ask for an alternate unmasked head to come with Captain America? Granted, I’m happy to finally be getting the Avengers suit but it would have been great to be able to re-create the Endgame fight with one masked and one unmasked.
