Epic Games has introduced the second Marvel-inspired comsetic set into Fortnite as part of the ongoing Avengers: Endgame in-game event. Following last week's Black Widow cosmetic outfit, Marvel fans now have the option to purchase an outfit that can transform their character into Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Available via the in-game Item Shop, players can purchase the Star-Lord outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks alogn with a matching Guardian Axe harvester for 5,000 V-Bucks. Also available for 1,200 V-Bucks is The Milano, a glider that looks like and is named after Quill's customized M-Ship. Rounding out the set for another 500 V-Bucks is the new "Dance Off" emote, which is modeled after the dance Quill performs to distract Ronan at the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Epic says this is the second of two Marvel sets, which sounds like this is the final Marvel-inspired skin coming to Fortnite. That's a bit of a surprise considering the magnitude of the event and how eager fans were to finally have the option to look like their favorite Marvel characters. If this is the final Marvel outfit to be released, one has to wonder why they chose to go with Star-Lord rather than the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, or one of the other original Avengers.

It's unclear if Black Widow or Star-Lord will return in the future or if this was the only chance to purchase these outfits. Despite Endgame marking the culmination of 10-plus years worth of Marvel movies, Marvel Studios still has big plans for the MCU. It's possible that future tie-ins with Marvel could result in the release of more Marvel outfits. With Spider-Man: Far From Home right around the corner, could we see a Spider-Man outfit in Fortnite?
