AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Blu-Ray Could Include An Additional 30 Minutes Dedicated To Thanos' Backstory

Though this has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel or The Russo brothers themselves, we have it on good authority that there's a special edition of Avengers: Infinity War heading for home release which will include an additional half an hour dedicated to Thanos' origin.

Collider caught up with Jim Starlin at Las Vegas Comic Con this past weekend, and the creator of The Mad Titan told them that The Russos plan to restore 30 minutes of footage dedicated to the villain's backstory for the Blu-ray.

To be clear, these wouldn't be deleted scenes - this extra Thanos stuff that had to be removed from the theatrical release would be re-integrated into the film for a new extended cut.

We're sure Starlin is on the level here, but, again, we'll have to wait until we hear from Marvel before we get too excited... as awesome as this sounds!
