When does its theatrical run actually wrap up? I’m drooling for Avengers 4 news like at least a title revealb
BloodyBed
BloodyBed - 6/22/2018, 5:33 AM
@XelCorp - I hope it’s in theaters a little longer. I wanna see it again in like 2 weeks. C’mon marvel. It’s infinity war. Give it a few more weeks please.
LongMayHeReign
LongMayHeReign - 6/22/2018, 10:22 AM
@BloodyBed - Oh I would'nt worry about that boss. Most films (if reasonably profitable) have 20+ week theatrical runs. Infinity War is just wrapping up it's 8th week in release.

You got plenty of time to see the Mad Titan again.

What an amazing movie.

kylo0607 - 6/22/2018, 5:33 AM
@KaioKen - Yeah a true masterpiece and probably the best CBM ever.

I've seen it 8 times and I still feel like seeing it 20 more!

Waiting for that Blu-ray is painful.
KaioKen
KaioKen - 6/22/2018, 7:38 AM
@kylo0607 - let's face it. It's better than TDK. It just is. It's the best
pitbull76
pitbull76 - 6/22/2018, 9:34 PM
@KaioKen - no not really with the dark knight you could take batman out the suit and the joker with no make up and it would still be a great movie i can not say the same about infinity war. Also i loved infinity war.
BloodyBed
BloodyBed - 6/22/2018, 9:39 PM
@pitbull76 - weird how quickly I caught this comment, but why does that even matter? if you took the characters out of their costume it would make a good movie you say, but all the things that make infinity war great involve these costumed characters. ffs, if thanos was in a t-shirt would that make it as good as tdk?

it's just a weird qualifier. IW is shot well, tells a solid story, and is packed with thrills and emotion. It is just as well crafted and nuaced as tdk, but with 10x more spectacle and 10 years of history backing it up. I think it's totally the best comic book movie we have had so far.
pitbull76
pitbull76 - 6/23/2018, 9:34 AM
@BloodyBed - Nope sorry will take The dark knight over infinity war any day of the week and like i said in my other comment i really liked infinity war.
kylo0607
kylo0607 - 6/24/2018, 1:18 AM
@KaioKen - When I watch TDK, it's the best ever. When I watch IW, it's also the best ever.

That's the problem when you have good CBM's. It's really hard to rank them.

That's cool that's how the Hulk gets stronger. Hulks strength and power has no limit only gets stronger and more indestructible for the second round :)
Vigor

@Vigor - The video I watched was Thanos, Hulk fight

DoubleD
DoubleD - 6/22/2018, 5:38 AM
@regularmovieguy - The Hulk is always looking for someone or thing to kick is A$$ because that's how he gets stronger. That's why he can pick up suns and throw them. Destroy planets with a single punch.

The Hulk the first round is to get stronger second round is to kick A$$
CaptainElrond
CaptainElrond - 6/22/2018, 6:32 AM
@DoubleD - Pretty sure hulk can;t pick up suns and throw them I mean corvus glaives Star weighted spears hit hulk and kept him down, meaning he struggles with it.

I suppose he could destroy planets, but not with one punch.

That's more of a superman or galactus thing.
DoubleD
DoubleD - 6/22/2018, 7:32 AM
@CoolCipher - in comics he has punched a sun twice the size of the Earth sun and sent it flying in the opposite direction without even flinching. Google hit
DoubleD
DoubleD - 6/22/2018, 7:33 AM
@CoolCipher - Superman can't do that
CaptainElrond
CaptainElrond - 6/22/2018, 11:43 AM
@DoubleD - No he hasn't. I looked up all his feats. That never happend, and superman can do that.

The CGI in this movie was amazing! I love how many moments of weakness Thanos had. He cried while killing Gamora, he almost died when Thor attacked and he was almost defeated on Titan. Having those human moments resonate with a character completely generated in a computer is impressive!
kylo0607
kylo0607 - 6/22/2018, 5:39 AM
@Bokis - I agree!

And what I really loved about Thanos is how in all these situations you put above, he always ended up winning and beating them, gaining one step above.

This made him a very dangerous and formidable villain.

The Russos weren't joking when they said the Avengers were going to try stop him and always be one step behind.
OmegaDaGrodd
OmegaDaGrodd - 6/22/2018, 5:41 AM
@Bokis - The degree of humanity they put into Thanos without ever dipping into sympathetic territory is infinitely impressive. He looks fatigued and ashamed when he's talking to little Gamora in the Soul world. When he and Dr Strange are having their shootoff and Strange turns his blast into butterflies, there's this moment of utter confusion and bewilderment Thanos has where he doesn't know if the butterflies are some weird attack or just energy dissipating. The fact that they put more work into layering him than most DRAMA'S do their main protagonist really pays off onscreen.
BloodyBed
BloodyBed - 6/22/2018, 5:31 AM
I know the movie has been out for a while, but did you really just spoil spidey’s death for passer-bys? That was 100% unnecessary. Dick-move wilding.
kylo0607
kylo0607 - 6/22/2018, 5:40 AM
@BloodyBed - You answered your own question.

The movie has been out already. For 2 months to be exact.

And with 2 months and $2 billion at the BO, I doubt many people here would not have already seen it.
regularmovieguy
regularmovieguy - 6/22/2018, 6:17 AM
@kylo0607

Still - I think this site is getting too comfortable posting spoilers in the headlines. Whether its IW or not.
GwenLantern
GwenLantern - 6/22/2018, 6:49 AM
@BloodyBed - I find it excruciatingly ironic that we live in a culture where people will scream spoiler for the tiniest of things, but when a movie actually comes out that is exactly the type of movie that the term was invented for, nobody thinks twice about just blurting out "Spider-man's death" not only within the same year that the movie is released, but before it is even out on DVD/Blu-Ray/4K Ultra. It's still in the cinemas!!! But everyone's just like "Thanos wiped out half the universe" and "Dr. Strange is now dust"...

Not a single iota of decorum is afforded the only movie truly worthy of it in a long, long time.

Baffles me.
