Though we've already been introduced to the ultra-powerful Thanos in Guardians of The Galaxy and then again very briefly in a post-credits scene, fans have been waiting anxiously to see the Mad Titan in action, and that's going to happen in next year's Avengers: Infinity War.

We've had a few cool little production teases for the movie previously, but now actor Josh Brolin has shared a new look at Thanos' face (well, half of it) alongside his own in a side-by-side image. The caption reads only one word: "Next."

How do you think the combined might of Earth's Mightiest will do against Thanos? Will there be a casualty or two, perhaps?

Filming is scheduled to commence on the movie this month, with Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage recently named as the latest cast addition. He'll join the returning Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and many more.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to be released in May of 2018.
