Mark Ruffalo Teases An "Funny, Moving, And Epic" AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR And AVENGERS 4

It's already been revealed that we can expect a three movie arc for the Incredible Hulk through Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers 4 and Mark Ruffalo now drops some fresh details...

Mark Ruffalo gets a much larger role in Thor: Ragnarok as The Hulk due to the fact that the Jade Giant is finally able to speak and the plan is reportedly for the hero's story arc to continue into Avengers: Infinity War and its currently untitled sequel. That's exciting news, especially as the character won't be getting a solo movie any time soon and Mark Ruffalo has now shared some fresh intel on the movies.

Asked about what it's been like shooting the two Avengers movies with directors Joe and Anthony Russo (his first time working with the duo), Ruffalo had nothing but good things to say about them.

"It’s crazy. And it’s huge. And everyone’s in it. And it’s like this epic opera that spans time and space, with all of the Marvel characters in it. All nine franchises. I mean, it’s mind-boggling. Everyone has their moment to shine. Everyone is still their characters. Nobody feels like they’re doing any kind of exposition or having to push the story. It’s so well crafted. [Writers Christopher] Markus and [Stephen] McFeely smashed the script. And it has it all: it’s funny, moving… it’s epic. It’s a Russo brothers classic, like, balls to the wall, you know? It’s gonna be amazing. They’re so talented, and they’re great guys too."

That's high praise indeed and it definitely sounds like these movies will be firing on all cylinders. That's to be expected, though, especially as Avengers: Infinity War celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and brings together plot threads which were first introduced in The Avengers in 2012 (and arguably before that with Iron Man and Captain America: The First Avenger).
