With just hours to go until the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer is released, we can no doubt expect some major reveals about what's to come in the Marvel Studios movie to hit before the day is over. However, if you just can't wait, some new Hot Toys figures have popped up online which provide some major clues about the changes the God of Thunder will be going through in the superhero ensemble.

To find out what those are, you'll need to click below to check out this gallery of images. It's something fans have been theorising about for a while now but the confirmation is sure to give everyone something to talk about. It's obviously surprising that it's been revealed in such a way but that's just the way things go with a movie that has so many pieces of tie-in merchandise doing the rounds.

We've seen these lightning effects coming off Thor in various toys now but this is the first time the hero's hands have been glowing too. Is it safe to assume that he's powering himself up for something?

If he is (and it's safe to assume that's the case seeing as this toy is called "Powered Up Version," then it's probably because he needs to unleash a lot of power to help create the Stormbreaker hammer.

As you can see, Thor is still rocking his eyepatch from Thor: Ragnarok here, something he was forced to wear after his battle with Hela resulted in his eye being sliced out by Asgard's Goddess of Death.

And here's the spoiler we were talking about above! As you can see, as soon as Thor gets the Stormbreaker, he also regains the armour on his arms and a cape...oh, and his eye is regenerated too!

While it may feel like Marvel is backtracking by giving Thor his eye back so soon after losing it, he does still have the scar on his face so he won't forget what Hela did to him for quite some time.

As you may recall, Thor powered up in The Avengers and gained additional armour on his arms, so it's safe to assume that's what's happening here but growing an eye back is definitely something new.

Recent set visits have confirmed that Thor joins the battle in Wakanda, so how much do you want to bet he arrives just in time to help turn the tide with his new hammer and, well, ability to see.

As we've already established, the handle of Thor's hammer is going to be made from Groot wood, a sign that the sentient tree is going to be given at least one important job in the upcoming movie.
