@WakandaManAreU - Stop being an ass. Lego sets have been unreliable in the past (IM3 etc) but there are SIX individual sets all for the same movie. Common sense says that at least some of the information contained will be spoilery. The Bruce Banner reveal in particular as a lot of fans assumed that from the trailer.

Toys tell us a lot of interesting things about upcoming movies. Like, did you know that both Darth Vader and Luke are secretly transformers?http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Star_Wars_Transformers

@Origame - @Origame - Yup! Or that Hank Pym was going to put back the Ant-Man suit on and be revealed as the bad guy in Ant-Man.
Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 3:23 PM
@Nerdman3000 -
The reason behind this set is actually based on two different aspects of the movie;

• One of the ending aspects of the movie would have included Hank Pym putting on the suit to help and setting up the idea that he would go look for Janet in the sequel.
• The other reason is that Lego wanted to include another figure to justify the pricing of the set and decided to include a variation of the Ant-Man suit worn by Hank Pym during the flashback scene.

Either way it told us about aspects of the movie, it's just a matter of fan interpretation.

Even the boat chase set from Iron Man 3 was at one stage going to happen.

The only Lego Marvel Superheroes movie set that was never going to happen was the Mandarin being in the small vehicle

@Scarilian - And what's your far-fetched explanation for this?

Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 6:06 PM
@L0RDbuckethead -

Honestly i had forgotten about that one.

The key thing to note with Lego sets is the idea of 'play-ability in a box' and that they are based on concept art a majority of the time.

In this case we haven't heard of the latter so it's most likely the former - they wanted to have some play feature in a set that was otherwise occupied with heroes.

Not sure why Kaecilius was not included, but i expect it was due to budget as Mordo, The Ancient One and Doctor Strange are more iconic. The constantly changing concept art for the character could have also been a factor;

L0RDbuckethead - 1/14/2018, 3:15 PM
@Scarilian - Not sure what Kaecilius has to do with that set or the monster included in it, but my point is these sets are very unreliable and shouldn't be taken super seriously. Yes, there are some things factual about them, but they shouldn't be taken so seriously.

Tyrion in a hulkbuster sounds intriguing.

JedimasterD - 1/13/2018, 3:03 PM
@RickGrimes - huh? Never saw anywhere that dinklage will be in the hulkbuster or even anywhere near earth
Argetlam22
Argetlam22 - 1/13/2018, 6:15 PM
@RickGrimes - I was really hoping that he would be the king of dwarves, maker of the infinity gauntlet, not...tyr? God of war? Looks like machete? Clearly not the most relevant Norse figure unless tyr is hanging out with king eitri. Which would be totally awesome but sounds more like Thor 4. Throw in a frog Thor and the Celtic God of thunder and you got a good story. But yeah, Peter dinklage is probably the king of dwarves. In the movie, not as a person...

I really want to see the new Iron Man Armor. Hopefully we get some Hot Toys pics or something
Asturgis
Asturgis - 1/13/2018, 3:15 PM
@MeAreLegend - That armor from the last Thanos fight look like his Deep Space armor with bigger booster wings. I like Starboost better, but it looks pretty damn cool.

MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:31 PM
@Asturgis - Yeah the starboost armor from Iron Man 3 lookes really cool. I really liked the white and grey parts of the suit. Made it look like something built for space travel (probly just the color scheme). Shame it was totally wasted in Iron Man 3 though
Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 3:33 PM
Primary basis is the Bleeding Edge Armour mixed with some of the aspects of the Invincible Iron Man Armour.

It can basically warp/shift to meet the users needs including larger thrusters and a massive cannon.

MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:37 PM
@Asturgis - The armor in the lego set is not the Deep Space Armor.
Its this one
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:39 PM
@Scarilian - I wonder if they'll how far they'll go. Like will they really have his armor stored inside of his bones like in the comics? I mean the warping and shifting functions can be explained with Liquid Metal
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:39 PM
@MeAreLegend - I wonder how far they'll go*
Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 4:29 PM
@MeAreLegend -

In Avengers he had the ability to call his armour to him via a wrist strap.

In Iron Man 3 his armour could be manipulated via implants in his arms

In Civil War he had armour that unfurled from his wrist strap.

I expect he'll have Armour hidden in aspects all over his body that will deploy automatically - the only aspect that cannot be automatically deployed would be the chest arc reactor so he gets that re-installed in his body.

They could arguably do something somewhat similar to Killmonger.
