The Russo Brothers Explain Why AVENGERS 4 Is No Longer INFINITY WAR - PART 2
Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 recently lost its title, and in a new interview, Joe and Anthony Russo shed some light on why that is and promise that a big reveal is coming in regards to Avengers 4...
Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 is currently untitled, while "Part 1" is now simply Avengers: Infinity War. Does that mean we won't see Thanos in the franchise's fourth instalment? That remains to be seen, but when Cinema Blend recently caught up with with Joe and Anthony Russo, they got the filmmakers to shed some light on why the decision was made to change the title and what exactly that means.
"We wanted the movie to be very different and distinctive, you know," Joe explained. "There’s certainly cross-pollination between characters and some story-arcs, but you know, the first movie is very clearly Avengers: Infinity War and, in time, we will reveal what the second film is." As for when exactly we're going to learn the title of Avengers 4, Antony added: "You’ll learn that, but not for quite some time." It sounds like a big reveal is coming then, but what's up with them making us wait?
Chances are that the movie will share a title with a famous comic book storyline, and while most of us assumed Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 would focus on Thanos assembling the Infinity Stones before taking on The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy in Part 2, there's a chance that the fourth instalment could be something unexpected. What do you guys think? Share your theories below.
