No, seriously, I don’t even know what this new connection is supposed to be. Whedon clearly meant the Infinity Gauntlet when he wrote that line, so in what way did anyone involved in Infinity War do something special to add meaning to it?

What did they do that was genius? I don’t know if I’m missing something or not.

I think Josh is trying to relate the whirl pool to the wormhole but it feels like a stretch. Yet the mind stone is at the center of the gauntlet too. So what's the conclusion here? Maybe that's the point of this article, that the writers found a way to connect it. Feels forced tho. We already knew vision was gonna be important to infinity war. I just feel this isn't article worthy
