It Sounds Like Marvel Studios Is Planning On Bringing Back The ONE-SHOT Short Movies

Marvel's One-Shot shorts have been absent from Blu-ray releases of their movies for a while now but it sounds like they're finally making a return. Will the first revolve around Spider-Man and Any-Man?

Tom Holland can't stop spilling secrets, hence why he's now revealed that Marvel may be mulling over the return of One-Shot shorts which previously helped set up the Agent Carter TV series, reveal that Trevor Slattery isn't the real Mandarin and even fixed a continuity error from The Incredible Hulk

Talking about Spider-Man: Homecoming with Uproxx, the British actor said, "I want to do a short. That’s what I want to do. I want to do a 20-minute short with me and [Ant-Man star] Paul Rudd…"

That's all well and good, but will it happen? "I think they are planning on doing [one-shot shorts] again," Holland revealed. "I probably just spoiled a big spoiler. [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige’s probably going to be furious." Those shorts revolving around Thor and his roommate were pretty much One-Shots, so this isn't the most surprising news as Marvel will have plenty of chances to shoot these during the lengthy production of both Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel.

Spider-Man and Ant-Man teaming up would be a lot of fun, especially after what happened between the two of them in Captain America: Civil War last year! Who knows whether or not that will happen, but if Feige has something up his sleeve, we have plenty of reasons to be excited about them.

In another interview (this time with the Toronto Sun), Holland managed to avoid spilling any further MCU secrets, but mostly because he's not been allowed to read the Avengers: Infinity War screenplay. "I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about. I know who the villain is, but that’s it. They don’t let me read anything because I’m so bad at keeping secrets." So, yeah, looks like we'll have to keep waiting for those plot details! For now, let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
