WB Is Reportedly Developing 2 Different BIRDS OF PREY Scripts, And Both Feature Barbara Gordon/Batgirl

Though we're still not sure which other DC characters will be joining them, it looks like both Harley Quinn and Batgirl will definitely appear in whichever version of Birds of Prey WB decides to go with...

Last night, we found out that Warner Bros. plans to move forward with a Birds of Prey movie, and that up-and-coming director Cathy Yan is on board to helm the project.

Not long after the news broke Variety's Justin Kroll added added some updates, and now he's shared a few more details.

According to him, the studio is actually developing two different scripts for the movie, and the only characters that appear in both are Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Batgirl. Intriguingly, it seems the other DC heroines that make up the team differ in each version.

Also, even though the initial report indicated that Suicide Squad 2 would be put on the back-burner, it seems the sequel may shoot very soon after Birds of Prey.

It's unclear if Christina Hodson is penning both scripts or WB has hired another writer, but if the studio is as high on her pitch as we've heard, that would certainly be an odd move.

Tell us, which characters do you hope to see join Harley and Babs in the film? Drop us a comment below.
