Ben Affleck Finally Comments On Playing BATMAN

We've heard from pretty much everyone else EXCEPT Affleck on his decision to accept the role of The Dark Knight in Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel, but on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon he finally expressed his excitement..while also addressing his critics! Check out the video after the jump..

It's been almost a month since the news that Ben Affleck would be playing our next Batman hit (and almost broke) the web, and now we finally have some comments from the actor. While talking to Jimmy Fallon about his new movie Runner Runner, Affleck revealed a few details about his controversial casting, before responding to some of the backlash. The relevant chatter comes in around 1:43.

"It's so awesome, I'm so excited. They called me up and said 'do you want to do this', and I'm like, 'I'm not 25 man are you sure?'. So they said to come down and we'll show you what we're doing, and it was incredible. Zack has this incredible take on it..obviously we can't do what Christian (Bale) did, those movies are amazing, so he wants to do something different but still in keeping with that."
