There are many similarities between Marvels Black Panther and DC's Batman. They both fight crime, their both rich beyond your wildest dreams, they are both intelligent martial artists, they both wear masks with 2 pointy little ears, and let's not forget they both have high tech gadgets and toys to bring down bad guys. Some would even describe Black Panther as Marvels Batman, I mean I wouldn't but it's clear that both comic book companies have borrowed from each other over the years. Mark these two dates, 2016 when The Black  Panther will make his movie debut in Marvels 'Captain America: The Civil War' and Batman will make his debut in DC's 'Dawn of Justice'. What a coinkydink right? Now get this both of their solo movies will come out in 2018, Marvels 'Black Panther' and DC's 'Batman' films will be going up against each other, and so will the actors that portray them.
Here's where things get interesting...people know who the Black Panther is but Batman was out first and is a lot more popular, just like the same comparison can be made between Chadwick Boseman and  Ben Affleck. Affleck was out first, he has been doing movies for a very long time and has even tried his hand at directing (he will be directing the up and coming Batman movie) while Chadwick Boseman has hit the movie scene hard at the same time he is fairly new but Marvel believes he is the perfect actor to bring Black Panther to life. With the comic book characters being so even the movie companies will try and out do each other. Can you imagine the fight scenes, the vehicles and special effects we are going to be in for? Marvel is going to wreak havoc in Wakanda, while DC will turn Gotham into a battle zone. Klaw and The Joker will play a big part in these two movies, and expect cameos from their superhero partners to spice things up. Toys, merchandise and video games are going to be fighting on the shelves. If you don't believe that this is going to be personal just ask the fan base who debate all of the time who is better between the two.

So who would win? The King of Wakanda, or the Gotham Dark Knight? I think the real winner will be us! To be honest, I am most interested in seeing the Black Panther, because he is new, and I have seen my fair share of Batman movies. P.S. The Black Panther is an awesome character who deserves his chance in the spotlight, and Chadwick Boseman will get his chance to be a household name.
Sound off and tell me what you think.
