Joe Manganiello Reveals That THE BATMAN Will Begin Shooting As Soon As Next Spring
Ben Affleck may have recently tried to dial back expectations when it comes to the status of The Batman, but it appears as if Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has now let the cat out of the bag...
During the promotional tour for The Accountant, Ben Affleck attempted to dial back expectations for the current status of The Batman, making it clear that the movie isn't as far along as most of us assumed. However, it now appears as if the actor and director may have just been trying to surprise fans as new comments from Joe Manganiello point to production starting way sooner than expected.
Asked in the video below how he's getting on after a recent health scare, the Deathstroke actor replied: "Great, man, just getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring." That can't just be a wild guess as Warner Bros. would have needed to give him a rough idea of when production starts so he can arrange his schedule. What this means is that we're likely to get a lot more casting news in the next few months, and potentially even some sort of announcement about the title and release date too!
