Box office for this film went up $3m with estimates. We live in a world, nay a society, where a $55m Joker film opened to $96m domestic and a $300m Justice League film opened to $93m domestic.

I just hope we get a sequel. Or maybe connect him to Robert Patterson Batman.

@Killman21 - He'd be like... 75 years old by the time Batman first comes along.

@KWilly - they never said the age for Arthur. Maybe he was in the his late 30s. So maybe 50 when Bruce becomes Batman. Dang it that’s still too old lol.

@KWilly - They could ask us to believe that Fleck is younger than he looks (let's say, 30), so he'd only be 45 when Bruce Wayne (10) decided to become Batman. It could work.

@MadKingCipher - a new person as joker. What’s the point of this movie then? And they even showed Bruce Wayne

‘One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest’ would be my aim for a Joker Sequel.

Bruce Wayne, suffers mental trauma and drugs/alcohol addiction and mental illness following the death of his parents. He ends up in Arkham after trying to strangle his butler Alfred. Bruce when not sedated cuts holes in his bed sheets and pretends to be a Bat creature and runs around the sanitarium. Then re introduce Arthur. All takes place in Arkham.

@IronGenesis - Ruin Batman to make Joker more successful as a franchise character. Very tricky, definitely worthy of the Clown Prince. And an original interpretation of the dark knight as a mental patient imagining himself as a hero just like his nemesis.
