Most likely in an effort to get ahead of any incoming set photos as filming continues, director Matt Reeves has shared a first look at the sleek new Batmobile that will be featured in his upcoming DC Comics film adaptation The Batman, which will star Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse) as the titular Dark Knight.

The photos also give us our first full look at the Tenet actor in his new Batsuit, and we're sure most of you will agree that he looks pretty damn awesome.

In addition to Pattinson, Reeves has also formed quite an all-star supporting cast consisting of Golden Globe-winner Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) as Commissioner James Gordon, Zoë Kravitz (Big Little Lies) as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Golden Globe-nominee Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood) as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, Golden Globe-nominee Andy Serkis (Black Panther) as Alfred Pennyworth, Golden Globe-winner Colin Farrell (The Gentleman) as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, newcomer Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, 2x Golden Globe-nominee John Turturro (The Night Of) as Carmine Falcone and Golden Globe-nominee Peter Sarsgaard (Green Lantern) as Gil Colson. Gil Perez-Abraham (Orange is the New Black), Charlie Carver (Teen Wolf) and Max Carver (Teen Wolf) have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Plot details are being kept locked away at Arkham Asylum for now, but the film is rumored to be a loose adaptation of the popular DC Comics Batman stories The Long Halloween and Year One.

Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin (Little Fish). Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Greig Fraser will be behind the camera.

The Batman hits theaters June 25, 2021.

Looks like a Dodge or 70's Camaro with bat wings at the end. I can dig that.

@MCUKnight11 - The back reminds me of the Ford GT.

@L0RDbuckethead - I was thinking the same thing. The body style reminds me of the Pantera from back in the day.

Oh man, this is going from nothing to complete disaster.

@Tufasrox - I don't know about disaster, story might still be epic.

But the extremely grounded, raw approach they're going for is.. giving me doubts.

@RageDriver2401 - for sure. Gimme something different already. The blue suit, clayface, new car look (albeit I did like the JL car and the Tumbler). Also, toss in a cameo by Constantine something? Anything different than the grounded approach.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - I agree this doesn't look good or make sense for Batman to me. Why would he have such a basic car when he's a billionaire, and why would he leave his engine exposed like that?

Is this Batman dumb and broke?

Tbh... I want to like it but I don’t think I do. With the suit, the bike, and now the Batmobike I GET what they are going for. An industrial first generation made all by himself and Alfred feel and I like it... BUT the problem is I like it less than what we got with Affleck’s Batman. Because if that this just leaves me feeling “meh.”

@Ha1frican - Because Affleck's Batman was the closest to the comic book since Adam West.
